Ms. Nguyen most recently received a Master of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude, at Walden University in 2021. In addition to her academic credentials, Ms. Nguyen also holds several certifications pertinent to her field, including as a Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Vocational Nurse and Licensed Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Practitioner. As a commitment to her profession, she also remains active as a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Nguyen has largely attributed her success to her humble roots, which inspired her to help underprivileged citizens and those living in underserved communities. She is proud to have already made an impact on the nursing industry. In the coming years, she intends to earn her postmaster’s certificate as a PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner). Thuy Ly Thi Nguyen is an expert in her field, with over 14 years of professional nursing experience to her credit. Specializing as a Traveling Registered Nurse, she recently joined Favorite Healthcare Staffing in 2021. As part of her duties in the field, Ms. Nguyen specializes in geriatric and medical-surgical nursing and oversees the safety, stability and care of her patients. She earned her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) from the Dallas Nursing Institute in 2009, thereby beginning her career in long-term care/skilled nursing facilities. Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Nguyen pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at Collin College, where she earned an Associate of Science in Psychology in 2002. She subsequently continued her studies, achieving a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Dallas College of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. She established an Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine clinic, titled Nguyen Acupuncture, in 2007, remaining there until departing in 2012 to focus on serving as a Registered Nurse.
