As part of his regular duties, Mr. Fossceco validates and redevelops mass spectrometry tests based on provided patient samples, in addition to conducting extensive data analysis. Prior to joining ARUP Laboratories, Mr. Fossceco gained a wealth of experience working in research roles at The University of Utah, his alma mater. While studying at the university, he earned both a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science in 2017. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Fossceco is certified in laboratory management, having been formally recognized by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP). As part of his dedication to his profession, he remains affiliated with the ASCP, as well as the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Fossceco attributes much of his success to the guidance and support of his many mentors. Furthermore, he is highly organized and considerate, working with a patient-first approach in everything he does. In accounting for his many accomplishments, he is especially proud to have developed an updated pathway for his company, which will allow them to increase their specificity in newborn testing. Looking toward the future, Mr. Fossceco expects to return to school to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree, and he hopes to further branch out and develop more laboratories as part of his goal to continue improving the medical industry. With nearly a decade of experience to his credit, Anthony Michael Fossceco is a rising expert in the field of medical science.
