403 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine TECHNOLOGY Having accrued nearly six decades of professional experience, Eldon L. Worley has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of software development. Specializing in information security and various operating systems, he has served with Vanguard Integrity Professionals since 1993, focusing on software research and development. Additionally, he works as a product architect for the Vanguard Research Institute. Prior to joining his current team, Mr. Worley worked in mainframe security at the IBM Almaden Research Center from 1970 to 1992, having originally joined IBM in 1964. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Worley pursued a formal education. From 1958 to 1963, he studied at Oregon State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. As part of his dedication to his profession, he is a former member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In addition, to commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Worley was previously honored with an Outstanding Contribution Award from IBM. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Worley attributes much of his success to his continued dedication to learning new skills and information. To this end, in the early stages of his career, he and his family traveled to Europe so he could work abroad, an opportunity he was eager to capitalize on. In accounting for his many accomplishments, he is especially proud to have developed the Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) for IBM, which has been utilized by the company for approximately 45 years now.
