380 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICALS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY Accruing over 30 years of experience in natural history collections, Judith Marie Chupasko is an expert in zoology. Specializing in general mammalogy, she has traveled around the world to study and collect mammal specimens for museum collections. By doing fieldwork in wild habitats, she has seen the Southern Cross from the Amazon River and the Northern Lights in Superior National Park. She served as a Curatorial Associate in Mammalogy at Harvard University, overseeing the Department of Mammalogy and maintaining the field stations where specimens were prepared. In addition, Ms. Chupasko operated as an adjunct professor in Environmental Biology at Boston College. Ms. Chupasko earned a BS in Biology at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and an MS in Zoology at Louisiana State University in 1987. As part of her dedication to the field, she was previously affiliated with the American Society of Mammalogists and the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections. Well regarded for her accomplishments, she is proud to have worked alongside fellow scientists. Looking forward, she hopes to continue to work and education about mammals and continue to ride horses, one of her favorite pastimes. CURATORIAL ASSOCIATE IN MAMMALOGY (RETIRED) Harvard University Haverhill, MA Having accrued over two decades of experience, Dr. William Noland Elsaesser is an expert in the fields of biological oceanography and biogeochemistry. Specializing in reproductive ecology and bivalve aquaculture, he has been a project scientist with Cardno since 2010. Cardno is a global infrastructure, environmental and social development company that recently merged with Stantec. Outside of his research associate and laboratory instructor positions at the university, Dr. Elsaesser previously worked as an assistant scientist at Terra Environmental Services Inc., from 2007 to 2010, having commenced his career as a hatchery manager at Bayshellfish Aquaculture from 1999 to 2001. From a young age, Dr. Elsaesser has appreciated science and the ocean. Therefore, he naturally gravitated toward a career in biological oceanography. As part of his vocational journey, he cultivated his education, earning a BS from Florida State University in 1999 and a PhD in biological oceanography from the University of South Florida College of Marine Science in 2014. Dedicated to his profession, he remains affiliated with the National Shellfisheries Association. In the coming years, he hopes to extend and develop his research into the realms of climate change and renewable energy.
