388 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Leveraging over 25 years of experience, Shirin Noorali Malik has cultivated a career of excellence in the fields of business administration and development. She recently joined the Aga Khan Foundation, an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network, in 2022 as a senior officer of resource development and business partnerships. Prior to her current appointment, she served as an investment partner at San Angelo LLC. Furthermore, she was the vice president of business development and marketing for Benzer Capital and advocated for Bright Offerings between 2019 and 2020. Since beginning her career in 1996, Ms. Malik has also co-owned several family-invested businesses and served as director for the family-corporation entity, Avdiamonds. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Malik pursued a formal education, earning a master’s degree in management at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2018. She has also earned numerous certifications pertaining to her field, including for teaching sustainable development goals through art and for religion, conflict and peace. Ms. Malik also previously completed courses in Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework and Next-Generation Leadership. Ever dedicated to her profession, Ms. Malik remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the International Sustainable Development Resource Centre – Geneva, the American Ismaili Chamber of Commerce, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Adjacent to her primary vocation, she also remains committed to civic advocacy, serving as a teacher-educator and as a board of directors member of the United Nations Association Houston Chapter. To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Malik has been honored with several accolades over the course of her career, including the Making an Impact Award from Benzer Capital in 2019. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Malik attributes much of her success to the support of her parents. In accounting for her achievements, she is especially proud to have been a part of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership Forum. In the coming years, Ms. Malik hopes to continue expanding her influence and creating awareness for the causes she believes in.
