62 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT With over 25 years of experience to his credit, Shea Amir Minor is an expert in the art and animation industries. Having worked as a freelance character animator and designer since 2021, he recently joined Boldbird Studios in 2022. Boldbird Studios is an emerging animation studio dedicated to delivering compelling stories in the two-dimensional animation format. Some of their ongoing projects include “Lionbound,” “Dyad” and “Picaroon.” Mr. Minor largely works as a storyboard artist and primary effects animator for the studio, while also remaining dedicated to his own personal projects and concepts. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Minor developed the storyboards and pitch for a short film titled “A Light,” and he worked on a movie titled “The Lion Herder,” which was nominated for several short film awards. Prior to beginning his professional journey, he pursued a formal education, earning an Associate of Arts in animation, interactive technology, video graphics and special effects at the J. Everett Light Career Center in 2014. Mr. Minor subsequently received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2D animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in digital animation at Kennesaw State University. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, Mr. Minor remains active as a civicminded citizen, participating with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and volunteering as a blood donor for the American Red Cross. Attributing much of his success to his elementary school English teachers, who fanned the fires of creativity within him, he is especially proud to have had one of his short films presented at his alma mater. In the coming years, Mr. Minor hopes to develop a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating afterschool programs for young aspiring artists.
