133 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION With 30 years of professional experience to her credit, Annmarie Woscek-Morrow has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of education. Prior to retiring in 2010, she served as an elementary school teacher for the Cincinnati Public Schools, having originally joined the school district in 1990. She also previously operated as a Montessori teacher from 1980 to 1990. Throughout her career, Ms. Woscek-Morrow dedicated herself to teaching and assisting young children, and she remains committed to social work by helping children with chronic illnesses. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Woscek-Morrow pursued her own formal education, beginning with her time at Notre Dame College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English in 1979. She subsequently completed her studies at Xavier University, achieving a Master of Education in 1990. In addition to her academic credentials, Ms. Woscek-Morrow received certifications in teaching from the Association Montessori Internationale in 1980 and the American Montessori Society in 1990. Since retiring from professional work, Ms. Woscek-Morrow has dedicated much of her time to civic-minded activities, including assisting with mission trips at her local church and helping families as a grief counselor. In all her endeavors, she has remained open-minded, inclusive and unafraid to share her feelings with close friends and colleagues. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Woscek-Morrow attributes much of her success to her passion and flexibility, as well as the guidance of her many teachers and mentors. She has always enjoyed teaching and watching the progress of her students, especially taking pride in her work in helping children learn to read. Looking toward the future, Ms. WoscekMorrow hopes to return to teaching in some capacity, particularly regarding reading and literacy.
