He subsequently continued his academic career at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2001, where he excelled as a wrestler. Before Mr. DeHart could acquire his degree, he was called to serve abroad in Iraq by the United States Army. Outside of his primary duties, Mr. DeHart remains active as a civic-minded citizen. As part of his dedication to veterans’ services, he remains active on the board of the Veterans Memorial Reef. He also serves as a coach for children’s sports, such as soccer and flag football. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, he was previously honored as Coach of the Year by i9 Sports LLC, and his company was recognized as the Number One Installation Company by Encore Magazine. While he is grateful for his professional success, Mr. DeHart is especially proud to serve as a father to his two children. With more than 25 years of professional experience to his credit, Christopher O'ryan DeHart has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of home improvement. Since 2010, he has operated as the owner of All About Energy Solutions, a veteran-owned and operated company that offers free home inspections to prospective clients and solutions for saving money on monthly energy bills. Additionally, Mr. DeHart’s company offers a number of other installation services, including crawlspace encapsulation, radiant barriers, solar panels and blown-in insulation. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. DeHart served as a sales manager for Southeastern Energy Corporation in 2010. He also operated in a similar position for Advanced Metal Roofing between 2006 and 2010. From 2002 to 2010, he honorably served with the United States Army National Guard, working as a specialist and cavalry scout. Mr. DeHart originally began his career in 1996, working as a general laborer for All About Irrigation until 2004.
