196 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENTREPRENEURS For more than one decade, Brandon I. Peterson has cultivated a fulfilling career as a successful businessman. Since beginning his career in 2011 as a regional club director at Anytime Fitness, he has accumulated a wealth of experience pursuing a variety of professional endeavors. In 2016, he co-founded SELFiD, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting youths seeking to build positive selfimage and a sense of individuality. Since 2017, Mr. Peterson has also served as the chief operating officer of his family’s business, DPA Auctions, which specializes in providing a personalized online auction experience for clients and consumers. Furthermore, in 2018, he co-founded Watts Coworking and Geokey Inc., the latter of which he continues to operate as the chief executive officer. Prior to beginning his career, Mr. Peterson pursued a formal education at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he studied from 2010 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. During his time at the university, he was an active member of Phi Kappa Tau. As part of his professional dedication to the field, Mr. Peterson also remains affiliated with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and the Convene Peer Group. To commemorate his accomplishments and service in the field, he was recognized with the award for Innovative Culture of the Year in 2021. Mr. Peterson has dedicated much of his life and career to helping and empowering others. Throughout his vocational journey, he has attributed much of his success to the inspiration of his family, who passed down a legacy of excellence and instilled in him a dedicated work ethic. He is also grateful for the advice and guidance of his mentor, Dr. Tom Black, who authored the book, “The Boxcar Millionaire.” Mr. Peterson is the third generation to work within his family’s company, which was originally founded by his grandfather in 1972.
