Driven to participate in humanitarian causes and diplomatic relations from a young age, she naturally gravitated toward a career in politics and has worked tirelessly to thrive in the field, living up to her personal motto, “Brave women are not born from comfort zones; they are made in the fire.” Looking toward the future, Dr. Arfaoui hopes to continue connecting with organizations that seek to raise awareness for human rights and women’s rights. she achieved a Master of Science in Accounting in leadership principles at Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Accounting in leadership change at New York University. In addition to her academic credentials, Dr. Arfaoui is a certified expert in the human rights-based approach to disability and a certified consultant in diplomatic protocol. To commemorate her accomplishments, Dr. Arfaoui has been honored with numerous accolades over the course of her career, including the European Council Human Rights Award and a Certificate of Honor from the Tunisian President for National Women’s Day.
