269 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Dr. Robert W. Bolois founded the New Destiny Treatment Center in 1992, where he presently serves as the executive director. Throughout the treatment center’s 30-year existence, Dr. Bolois was instrumental in transitioning the organization from a mission to a treatment facility. The New Destiny Treatment Center currently offers several programs ranging from outpatient care to inpatient services, behavioral health evaluations, medical clinics and a detoxification center. Alongside this role, Dr. Bolois serves as the senior pastor of the chapel located on the grounds of the treatment center. Earlier in his career, Dr. Bolois was a pastor for Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Connection in Salem, Ohio, from 1966 to 1990. During this time, he pursued a formal education at the Hobe Sound Bible College, receiving a BA in Biblical literature in 1968. After many years of pastoral service, he attended Walsh University and earned an MS in psychology in 1988. Additionally, he holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Cornerstone University, which he obtained in 1992. Well regarded for his religious services and counseling techniques, Dr. Bolois was ordained to the ministry in 1977. He holds licenses as an independent chemical dependency counselor-clinical supervisor, professional clinical counselor and pastoral counselor. Dr. Bolois specializes in addiction medicine and counseling and maintains an unwavering passion for helping others regardless of race, sex, gender, religion or socioeconomic background. Passionate about making a difference in others’ lives, he maintains membership with the American Psychological Association, National Association of Christian Counselors, National Association of Forensic Counselors and the International Conservative Holiness Association. As a testament to his teaching prowess, Dr. Bolois was honored with an Award for Outstanding Teaching from the University of Akron during his professorship. Outside of these efforts, he is a renowned speaker in the field, having held seminars for over 40 years related to mental illness and addiction.
