306 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS With over 40 years of experience to his credit, Omar Stiefer is a proven leader in the field of senior health care. Since 2004, he has served as an operator at Brookdale Senior Living Inc., in Ben Wheeler, Texas. Having worked with the company for many years, he previously served as the president of operations from 2003 to 2018. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Stiefer also maintains membership with the Assisted Living Association. Furthermore, he is a fully certified assisted living manager. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, Mr. Stiefer is also an accomplished country musician, having released an album titled “Second Chances” in 2017 and performing on the Grand Ole Opry Stage in the Ryman Auditorium in 1999. To commemorate his musical achievements, he was nominated for Video of the Year and Song of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association in 1999. In addition to his professional work, Mr. Stiefer remains active in his community as a civic-minded citizen. Since 2018, he has served as an ordained chaplain with Cowboys for Christ International. Having worked as a traveling musician for many years, Mr. Stiefer was attracted to the field of senior health care after he reconnected with his Christian faith. Having worked with other assisted living organizations in the past, he was approached by Brookdale Senior Living to improve their operations and manage their numerous locations. In light of his accomplished career, Mr. Stiefer is especially proud to have found his faith. In the coming years, he hopes to begin his own senior living community campus, tentatively named ASHIERA (Affordable Senior Housing in Rural America).
