Rubino is a proven expert in the fields of construction and real estate. Specializing in designing, building and restoring home fireplaces and chimneys, he has operated as the chief executive officer of Nationwide Chimney & Fireplace Solutions Inc., for over 23 years, a company which has been named the number one chimney and fireplace builder in the New York City metropolitan area. Their reputation of professionalism is widely recognized and largely unsurpassed, with several offices in Manhattan, Long Island and Florida. Mr. Rubino is responsible for communicating with the administrative staff to coordinate and schedule projects. Prior to beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Rubino cultivated a formal education, earning an associate degree at the La Salle College of the Arts in 1965. In addition to his academic credentials, he is also a licensed captain in the United States Coast Guard, and he is certified in mold analysis and identity by the National Association of Mold Professionals. As part of his commitment to the field, Mr. Rubino also remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the Island Inn Resort Association. Adjacent to his primary interests, Mr. Rubino is deeply interested in boating and maritime activities, and he is an activist in environmental welfare, particularly pertaining to the sea. To this end, he has been recognized for his commitment to civic advocacy, having previously taught nautical skills to private school students and volunteering with the Brookhaven Animal Shelter, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Over the course of his career, Mr. Rubino has largely attributed his success to his knowledge, perseverance, professionalism and honesty.
