330 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Having accumulated more than 35 years of experience working in insurance litigation, Newton C. Thomas recently began his career in the field of health care. Since 2016, he has operated as the director and owner of Inspiration House Care Providers Inc., a health care provider for individuals dealing with disabilities and injuries while at home. Mr. Thomas oversees all daily operations of the business, handles marketing, conducts courtesy calls to clients, meets with other agencies and documents all company reports. Adjacent to his professional experience, Mr. Thomas is also well regarded as a civic-minded citizen, regularly participating in food drives for the homeless population in his community and volunteering as a sports coach. Prior to beginning his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, earning a BS from Southern University at New Orleans in 1984, paralegal studies from Tulane University in 1993, and an MPS from Loyola University New Orleans in 2000. Mr. Thomas attributes his success to the valuable lessons he learned from his parents, his faith, and his athletic career, which he adopted into his professional career. Gretna, LA Drawing upon an MD from St. George’s University, which she earned in 2017, Dr. Angie Nu Ton decided to delve into the subspecialty of Family Medicine in light of her desire to become knowledgeable in all areas of medicine. Completing a residency in family medicine at the Mayo Clinic in 2020, where she was recognized as chief resident, she subsequently joined the faculty of the prestigious health care facility in Chandler, Arizona. Currently, she excels as a Senior Associate Consultant, as well as an assistant professor and a family medicine Residency Advising Director at the Mayo Clinic Arizona School of Medicine. Dr. Ton maintains membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians and attributes much of her success to her perseverance, a value that was instilled in her by her supportive immigrant family. Among her several career highlights, she is especially gratified by achieving the rank of assistant professor at the age of 30. To reach this goal, Dr. Ton had published several peer-reviewed articles and presented at numerous regional medical conferences.
