154 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING An emerging professional in the field of engineering, Kaylee Konwinski first sought an education in the subject upon the encouragement of a high school counselor. Matriculating at Saginaw Valley State University, she attained a Bachelor of Applied Science in mechanical engineering in 2019. During her collegiate studies, Ms. Konwinski served as a member of the campus chapter of the American Foundry Society and served as a research assistant at a foundry on campus. Notably, she served as vice president of her campus’ chapter of the American Foundry Society in 2019 and as secretary from 2017 to 2018. Following her receipt of her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Konwinski joined Barron Industries in 2020, where she has since excelled as a production engineer. Now drawing upon nearly five years of experience in design for metal casting, her current responsibilities are overseeing foundry operations, including outlining procedures tailored to each customer’s specifications, reviewing drawings and collaborating with vendors, among other duties. Throughout her career thus far, Ms. Konwinski has been exceptionally proud to have played a pivotal role in Barron Industries’ engineering processes, having lent her considerable expertise to audit proceedings. To this end, she was noteworthy for onboarding a new aerospace client, which required a significant amount of research. In accounting for her success, Ms. Konwinski credits her open-minded nature and her inherent determination to do the best in all her endeavors. Though she entered the field with knowledge only acquired from her collegiate studies, she has since learned the intricacies of the industry and attained greater confidence in her knowledge. Looking toward the future, Ms. Konwinski intends to continue witnessing the expansion of her blossoming career. To wit, she would like to climb the ladder of success and enter a managerial role, as well as become more involved in the construction sector.
