Working alongside other industry professionals, including lenders, insurance companies, contractors, plumbers and electricians, Ms. Ehlen specializes in buying, selling and renovating residential real estate. As part of her professional duties, Ms. Ehlen regularly hosts open houses for new properties in her region, in addition to conducting and providing market research and comparisons for clients. To remain abreast of developments within her industry, she remains affiliated with several organizations, including the National Association of REALTORS, the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors, the International Association of Home Staging Professionals and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. Outside of her primary vocational endeavors, Ms. Ehlen remains committed to civic advocacy, regularly donating funds to local homeless shelters and animal rescue centers. To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, she was recognized by and inducted into the Presidential Club of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Though she originally worked as a salon owner, Ms. Ehlen subsequently gravitated towards a career in real estate, which complemented her husband’s work as a general contractor. In accounting for her accomplishments, she largely attributes her success to the influence of her husband and late mother, who have served as constant sources of inspiration and support. In the coming years, Ms. Ehlen hopes to complete a new custom home of her own, in addition to continuing her pursuits as a realtor.
