She also credits her good communication skills, noting the importance of listening effectively and collaborating with colleagues. Among the many highlights of her career, she is especially proud of being the very first individual in her family to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. Ms. Duffy was ultimately inspired by her mother, who had two associate degrees to her name. Looking toward the future, Ms. Duffy intends to create a more inclusive and diverse space within the realm of clinical research. She emphasizes that everyone is better represented when a varied range of professionals are seated at the table. She would also like to complete her master’s degree program and witness the continued growth of her own career. A keen observer and excellent communicator, Jamie Lee Duffy has excelled in the field of clinical research for more than 20 years. Since 2022, she has served as an associate director of clinical operations for Premier Research. Earlier, Ms. Duffy thrived in several positions with Health Decisions, including as a clinical research associate II from 2017 to 2018, a senior clinical research associate in 2019, a manager of clinical operations from 2019 to 2021, and an associate director of clinical operations in 2021. Likewise, Ms. Duffy served ICON as a senior clinical research associate in 2019, which was preceded by various roles with such corporations as Covance, Roche Tissue Diagnostics, Frenova Renal Research and Saint Alphonus RMC. From 2005 to 2014, Ms. Duffy flourished as a clinical research coordinator for the Woman’s Clinic, having previously served in the same capacity at Intermountain Orthopedics from 2003 to 2005 and at Advanced Clinical Research from 2001 to 2003. She previously received a Bachelor of Arts in social science from Boise State University in 2000 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
