382 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICALS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY For over three decades, Dr. Robert M. Manning served as a senior scientist at the Glenn Research Center, a part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). An expert physicist, he specialized in atmospheric imaging and random wave atmospheric propagation. In addition to his primary vocation, since 1986, Dr. Manning has also served as an adjunct faculty member in several departments at both Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland State University, primarily teaching physics. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Manning pursued his own education at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a BS in physics, and both an MS and PhD in theoretical physics. In addition to his academic credentials and professional accomplishments, he is well regarded for his scholarly output, having authored several articles and publications for the NASA Technical Memorandum. Over the course of his career, Dr. Manning has largely attributed his success to his drive to understand the fundamental principles of physics that individuals experience on a regular basis. In the near future, he hopes to properly return to teaching, preferably at his alma mater. Olson is celebrated as a marine scientist and educator. Since 1979, he has excelled with the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami and currently serves as a professor in the undergraduate marine science program. Additionally, he is an advisor for the UM Amateur Ornithology Club and served on the visiting faculty of the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Sao Paulo, where he established graduate courses on physical oceanography for fisheries and climate studies. A frequent grantee, Dr. Olson has traveled abroad on numerous occasions in pursuit of his research. He has also published over 150 articles in scholarly journals and chapters in books, is a former associate editor of the Journal of Marine Research and is a former editor of Geophysical Research Letters-Oceans.
