With over 25 years of research and development (R&D) experience, Sheila Dy Juanco boasts a diversified career in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and CPG, including consumer food and beverage, dietary supplements, personal care, household consumables and nutritional products. As vice president of technical services for Albertsons Companies (ACI), she is responsible for product development and innovation, regulatory compliance, in-store and digital project labeling, and external advocacy for own brands (OB). Ms. Dy Juanco brings leadership to a team of R&D professionals who work on over 14,000 ACI OB products that achieved over $15 billion in sales in the fiscal year of 2021. Prior to joining ACI in 2019, Ms. Dy Juanco served as the global R&D regulatory affairs leader for PepsiCo Nutrition, responsible for technical governance of nutrition billion-dollar brands, including Gatorade, Propel, Quaker, Tropicana, Naked and Izze. She spearheaded the PepsiCo M&A regulatory due diligence for KeVita and Health Warrior brands. She held progressive leadership roles at PepsiCo, Abbott Laboratories, Medline Industries and Akorn Pharmaceuticals with various technical R&D positions.
