213 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine FINANCE AND INSURANCE With more than 40 years of professional experience to her credit, Jody Hamilton is a proven expert in the insurance industry. Prior to retiring from professional work, she operated as an insurance consultant with various agencies and companies in Fresno, California, including such entities as Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and American Automobile Association (AAA). Having worked with AAA for over 20 years, originally joining the company in 1977 at the onset of her career, Ms. Hamilton also operated as a claims adjuster, a claims manager and a district office manager. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Hamilton pursued a formal education at California State University, Fresno, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in physical education in 1975. In addition to her academic credentials, she also received two insurance licenses in the state of California, five insurance licenses in the state of North Carolina, and a K-12 teacher’s license. Though she initially intended to pursue a career as an educator, Ms. Hamilton instead took on a position as an insurance adjuster and discovered her natural proclivity for working in the insurance industry. Throughout her career, Ms. Hamilton has been well-regarded for her fairness and ability to listen to and amicably work with each of her clients. A consummate professional, she attributes her fair-minded attitude to her parents, who instilled in her a staunch sense of honesty. Additionally, in accounting for her success, Ms. Hamilton owes many of her accomplishments to her dedicated work ethic. Since easing into retirement, she has taken to investing her funds in various properties, including a 40-acre farm and two summer homes. In the coming years, Ms. Hamilton looks forward to further enjoying her retirement and traveling more often.
