242 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY Drawing on over 23 years of experience, Randy L. Perry specializes in the field of logistics. He presently excels as a logistics management specialist for the Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration. Since joining the department in 2018, Mr. Perry has translated logistical goals into operational concepts for annual funding procurement, performed property accountability assessments, and provided life-cycle logistics oversight to ensure operational system support. Mr. Perry previously worked as the deputy director of the Department of Veterans Affairs, through which he oversaw the multi-million-dollar portfolio for the department’s Leadership Development Directorate. He gained prior experience as a principal logistics analyst and program manager at The Pentagon. During his tenure, Mr. Perry focused on system integration analysis, executing processes for three United States Army programs, in addition to conducting strategic planning assessments for executive director-level operations. He also served as a senior logistics management specialist with Raytheon International, where he managed the planning, coordination and execution of logistics-related processes for the air and space operations weapons system integrator. Before beginning his journey in the civilian sector, Mr. Perry honorably served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of captain and graduating from Officer Candidate School. To commemorate his service, he received a Gold Medal as an All-Army Athlete, the Bronze Star Medal and the Pentagon Staff Badge. An expert in his field, he also holds several academic degrees, including an MS in national resource strategy from The Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, as well as an MBA and MS in management from Strayer University. Mr. Perry attributes his success to his military training, drawing inspiration from the examples of his grandfather and father, both of whom also served. He is especially proud to be the third generation in his family to serve in the military. Within the coming years, Mr. Perry intends to retire and give back to his community by teaching, coaching and mentoring others as a 32nd-degree Mason (Scottish Rite). RANDY L.
