PAT LAWSON DOCTOR, PRESIDENT, OWNER Dr. Pat’s Integrative Health Services Ijamsville, MD With more than 50 years of experience to her credit, Dr. Pat Lawson is a proven expert in the health care industry and in the field of health education. Since 1972, she has operated as the lead doctor, president and owner of the eponymously named Dr. Pat’s Integrative Health Services, where she specializes in nutrition, naturopathy and reflexology. Dr. Lawson also regularly works with patients with disabilities in addition to overseeing other daily business functions. As an educator, she has further served as an instructor at the International Institute of Reflexology since 1972. Furthermore, from 1998 to 2003, Dr. Lawson operated as a professor at the Advanced Integrative Medical Institute. Dr. Lawson utilizes numerous techniques in the field to assist her patients, primarily focusing on nutrition, alkaline water and purified air. Additionally, she proudly established the R.E.S.T. (Release Emotional Stress and Tension) Workshop, which she continues to utilize to train patients to better understand the correlation between emotional health and physical health. Much of Dr. Lawson’s work has been dedicated to her lifelong mission to research and study alternative methodologies for healing and maintaining optimal health, and she strives to instill such ideas in her students, as well. As part of her vocational journey, Dr. Lawson pursued her own formal education, beginning with her time at Trinity College of Natural Health, where she earned a Doctor of Naturopathy in integrative health and nutrition. She also studied at the Washington School of Natural Medicine from 2000 to 2003, completing coursework in her field. In addition to her academic credentials, Dr. Lawson is well-versed in herbology and has been certified as a clinical nutritionist. Dr. Lawson was inspired to pursue her career in medicine following the passing of her late parents and as a result of her own health issues at a young age. To this end, she was determined to learn from her trauma and recuperate, finding a wealth of assistance in natural remedies and healing methods.
