280 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Revered in the health care administration industry, Andrew Goldfrach has excelled as the chief operating officer of the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center since 2020. Prior to attaining his present role, he was the chief executive officer for University Hospitals (UH) Avon Rehabilitation Hospital between 2016 and 2019. Other vocational duties to his credit have included tenures as the administrator of Good Shepherd Penn Partners, senior associate at Veralon, chief operating officer and compliance officer at Chestnut Hill Hospital, assistant administrator at Phoenixville Hospital, and planning associate at BJC Healthcare, among other roles. Mr. Goldfrach is board certified in health care management, received his Lean Six Sigma certification in 2011, and served as an emergency medical technician (EMT), for which he held a certification from 2000 to 2010. Following his father’s vehicle accident, he desired to enter the field of medicine and become an EMT. He notes that witnessing his father’s injuries is what prompted him to pursue health care, particularly the lack of care coordination that existed in the clinic in which his father resided. To this end, Mr. Goldfrach endeavored to improve communication and care coordination in the health care community, as well as dedicate himself to helping patients. He attributes much of his own success to his father’s inspiration. Among the many highlights of his career, he is especially gratified by working with the county in public health care, having built the UH Avon Rehabilitation Hospital from its initial foundation and serving until it became a thriving organization. Mr. Goldfrach is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has been a board member of the Community Health Association Inland Region since 2021. He holds a BA in health care policy from Ithaca College and an MHA from the Washington University School of Medicine. To attest to his resounding success, Mr. Goldfrach most recently earned the Service Award from ACHE in 2020, who also bestowed upon him their 2014 Healthcare Executive Regents Award.
