HARDIN-RAY Kitty L. Hardin-Ray cultivated a fulfilling career of over three decades prior to her retirement in 1988. At the inception of her career, she served a 27-year tenure at Dorton High School as an educator, where she also served as a counselor and established a luau program and a homecoming for students. Notably, these programs are still in practice today. Following her work at Dorton High School, Ms. HardinRay served the Otter Creek Correctional Center, a residential treatment center for juvenile delinquent boys, as a substitute teacher and fulltime instructional monitor. While teaching, she was trained in addiction treatment counseling and, subsequently, served the North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women as an addiction treatment counselor. While pursuing her career path, Ms. Hardin-Ray received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in health and physical education, both from Morehead State University, in 1972 and 1984, respectively. To remain abreast of developments in her field, she is a past member of the National Education Association, Kentucky Education Association and Pike County Education System. Looking forward, Ms. Hardin-Ray intends to watch her grandchildren thrive in their own respective lives. With over four decades of experience to his credit, Dr. Nemat Khansari has cultivated a career of excellence in the health care industry. Since 2014, he has served as the medical laboratory director at the Gandhi Hotel in Tehran, Iran, where he specializes in cancer immunotherapy. He is also a member of the hospital’s board of directors. Over the course of his career, Dr. Khansari has operated with numerous hospitals and institutions, including the University of Illinois, the Iranian Blood Bank Organization and the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. As part of his vocational journey, Dr. Khansari pursued a formal education, earning several degrees over the course of his collegiate studies. To this end, he earned his PhD in immunology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1981. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Khansari also holds several industry-related certifications. Well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Khansari has been recognized with numerous accolades over the course of his career.
