KNOWLES Russell P. Knowles has more than three decades of professional experience as a marine engineer, naval architect and program manager. Since 1999, he has held management and leadership positions at the Naval Sea Systems Command. He currently performs the duties of technology director for aircraft carrier programs. Previously, he served as production lead for aircraft carrier acquisition since 2015, establishing the first interagency agreement for technology insertion. In his prior position since 2010, he was director for ship disposal and international support programs, where he co-wrote the first ship sales and dismantling contracts. Mr. Knowles began his career in 1992 as a licensed marine engineer for Mobil Oil Company as the first American professional mariner in the international fleet. After upgrading his professional license in 1995, he earned an MEng degree from The University of Michigan, making a notable co-contribution by publishing a productivity metric for naval shipbuilding. This formed the basis of an active global benchmarking system. He also earned an MBA degree in 2011 from The George Washington University. He attributes his achievements to diverse mentoring relationships. Drawing upon over four decades of professional experience, Steven Wade Osgood has excelled as a leader in the fields of engineering and business management. Since 2021, he has served as a project manager for Integrity Assessment Group, a leading provider of assessments and maintenance services for the oil and gas, power and renewables, and process industries. Since beginning his career in 1987, Mr. Osgood has held numerous managerial positions with noteworthy companies such as Invacor, General Electric (GE) and the Lockheed Martin Corporation. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Osgood honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1982 to 1986, earning the rank of sergeant prior to retiring. He subsequently pursued a formal education, earning two bachelor’s degrees in business management, one at Lone Star College in 2013 and another at the University of Houston-Downtown in 2016. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Osgood largely attributes his success to his integrity and accountability. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue educating himself in the various fields of his profession, with a primary interest in nondestructive testing methods. STEVEN WADE OSGOOD
