From 1971 to 1980, he honorably served in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of staff sergeant. He subsequently pursued a formal education, studying at the University of Colorado from 1982 to 1989 and earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science and engineering. Afterward, Mr. Wilvert began his professional career in earnest, joining COVIA Technologies as a principal systems engineer until 1993. In 1999, Mr. Wilvert became the principal of Wilvert Technical Consulting, where he provided high-quality consulting services pertaining to various technological systems until 2006. He later joined Blueprint Test Preparation LLC in 2006 as the vice president of technology, and in 2018, he rose to the position of vice president of information technology. Blueprint Test Preparation is well-regarded for providing proven strategies and analytics for students in the various fields of technology. In addition to his primary professional duties, Mr. Wilvert previously worked with Lockheed Martin Corporation for five years. In his civicminded endeavors, he has also served as a commander for the Department of California Area 4, District 19, Post 352, as part of The American Legion, since 2014. Furthermore, he joined the Fairplex Garden Railroad in 2007, where he continues to participate as a volunteer. To commemorate his valiant military service, Mr. Wilvert was presented with a Meritorious Service Medal. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his dedicated work ethic, detailoriented mind and valuable intelligence.
