Specializing in editing and research, she has served as an executive editor for The WordWrights since 1991. The company offers a plethora of editing and proofreading services, with a keen focus on coaching clients and students with writing and understanding literary story structure. A consummate professional in her industry, Ms. Tracy is fully certified as an elite editor. Prior to her current position, Ms. Tracy excelled as a managing editor for Journal Opinion from 1982 to 1985. Furthermore, she was an editor researcher for Aurea House Publications from 1969 to 1983 and an information and education specialist for the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation between 1974 and 1975. Ms. Tracy originally began her career in 1969, working as an assistant editor for Ocean County Sun in Beachwood, New Jersey, until 1970. As part of her dedication to her profession, Ms. Tracy remains active as a member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Writers and Artists Institute, the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Association of Professional Women and the Vermont chapter of American Mensa. Additionally, in her civic-minded endeavors, she regularly volunteers with Pets for Vets. Ms. Tracy began writing while coming of age, publishing her very first article when she was 14 years old.
