318 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Leveraging more than four decades of professional experience, Joseph A. Hayberger is a proven entrepreneur and educator. Since 2012, he has served as the director of Leadership Erie County, a nonprofit organization focused on training civic-minded individuals in the city of Sandusky, Ohio. Mr. Hayberger previously operated as a sixth-grade teacher at the Sandusky City School District for 34 years and as a realtor for Hoty Enterprises LLC for 42 years. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Hayberger earned a Bachelor of Science in education at Bowling Green State University and an MEd at Cambridge College. He has also served as a board member of The Salvation Army for over 13 years and is a former board member of the Volunteer Center of Erie County and Firelands Positive People. Having been honored with several accolades over the course of his career, including the Chairman’s Award from the Erie County Chamber of Commerce in 2019, Mr. Hayberger attributes much of his success to his patience and faith. In the coming years, he hopes to continue to find success in all his endeavors. DIRECTOR Leadership Erie County Sandusky, OH Drawing upon over three decades of professional experience, Joanne E. Masopust is a proven expert in the fields of public safety and administration. She is a former president of the Fells Point Community Organization, which promotes connection and cooperation between various businesses and residences in Baltimore, Maryland. In her leadership position, she placed a strong emphasis on maintaining the history and integrity of her community. For 32 years, Ms. Masopust also served as a Baltimore City juvenile probation officer. Since retiring from her previous positions, Ms. Masopust has served as a directional agent for the Baltimore Cruise Terminal. To commemorate her dedication to civic advocacy, she was honored with the 9-11 Selfless Community Service Award in 2014. As part of her vocational journey, she also pursued a formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Towson University. In accounting for her achievements, Ms. Masopust attributes her success to her perseverance, determination and ability to see the bigger picture. In her efforts as a community leader, she is especially proud to have established the Evening of Gratitude for the Fells Point Community Organization.
