Mr. Inde is OSHA-certified in all 16 levels and is currently pursuing an MBA. As a testament to his resounding success, Mr. Inde has been honored with numerous accolades. Among his many achievements, however, he is especially proud of receiving the Merit Award from the Department of Transportation in 1998. He considers being the recipient of this award a highlight of his career. Outside of his primary efforts, Mr. Inde is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Notably, Mr. Inde attributes much of his success to his commitment to his work and perseverance in his field. He also credits his diligent work ethic and dedication. In the coming years, Mr. Inde intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career, and he wishes to advance further with the Broward County Government. Since 2015, Alfred A. Inde has served as an engineering inspector for the Broward County Government, having previously held the same position from 2003 to 2004. In his role as an engineering inspector, he is responsible for examining public roads, bridges, and parks and recreation facilities for compliance issues, as well as assisting contractors and engineers on topics related to standards and specifications for Broward County. Earlier in his career, Mr. Inde served as an engineer and certification specialist level III with the Florida Department of Transportation, a quality control manager with Precast/ Prestress Specialties, Inc., the owner of I&U Unity Group Corporation, and an electrician leadman with Bryant Electric. Likewise, he was an event supervisor and manager for CSC Contemporary Service Company and a project engineer with Precision Engineering, Inc., among many other positions. To prepare for his career, Mr. Inde pursued a formal education at Lansing Community College, where he earned an associate degree in engineering, graduating cum laude.
