She initially pursued a formal education, achieving a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas in Cuba in 1992. Several years later, Dr. Perez immigrated to the United States in 1995, where she began her career in earnest in the state of Florida. In 2000, Dr. Perez was recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners as a fully licensed veterinarian. Shortly after receiving her license, she took on the ownership of the Miami Animal Clinic, where she continues to loyally serve her community and the many pets and animals within it. The clinic primarily offers services for cats and dogs, including vaccinations, examinations, consultations, deworming, dental cleaning, and all types of surgery, ultrasounds and CT scans. Adjacent to her primary duties, Dr. Perez also served as the owner of the Palmetto Animal Clinic in Florida from 2002 to 2017. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to providing the highest quality of care for her patients, maintaining their health and livelihood as her utmost priority. In addition to offering veterinary care, Dr. Perez also excels in educating pet owners to help them better understand both her methodology and their relationship with their pets.
