As part of his continued dedication to his profession, Mr. Crager remains affiliated with the 82nd Airborne Division Organization and the Old Guard Organization. To commemorate his committed service, he was honored with a Combat Infantry Badge and an Expert Infantry Badge. Outside of his primary duties, Mr. Crager continues to serve as a civic-minded citizen in his community, volunteering as a soccer coach and with various trauma programs in the state of Georgia. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Crager largely attributes his success to his self-discipline and desire to continually improve himself. In accounting for his accomplishments, he is especially proud to have served with the old guard in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Looking toward the future, Mr. Crager hopes to return to Iraq or Ukraine as a civilian government contractor. With over two decades of professional experience to his credit, Steven Devon Crager has cultivated a prosperous career in military service. For 20 years, he honorably served in the United States Army, serving as an infantry soldier in Iraq and achieving the rank of first sergeant prior to retiring. Following his retirement, he served in numerous leadership positions. From 2006 to 2011, he worked with several Army Recruiting Command centers in Ohio and Kentucky. He also operated as an instructor and trainer from 2011 to 2013. In the past decade, Mr. Crager has worked extensively in security, most recently serving as a kennel master and deputy operations manager for explosive detection dog procedures at the U.S. Embassy in Iraq in 2018. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Crager pursued a formal education. After earning a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice science at Troy University in 2007, he subsequently continued his studies at the American Military University and achieved a Master of Arts in national security studies in 2011.
