To this end, he is clinically certified by the National Association of Forensic Counselors as an addictions counselor, sociological practitioner, sex addictions treatment specialist and forensic counselor. Outside of his primary professional interests, Dr. Frey has remained active in his community as a civic-minded citizen. In his retirement, he continues to serve as an advisor for the American Board of Disability Analysts. He also formerly volunteered with the Georgia State Defense Force for five years, during which time he immunized soldiers and other individuals with more than 300 shots in one day. Dr. Frey is wellregarded for his scholarly output, as well, having authored the 2012 book “Clinical Counseling and Psychotherapy” from AuthorHouse. An accomplished and consummate professional, Dr. Frey largely attributes his success to his openness and dedication to his work. In accounting for his achievements, he is proud to have kept Hagan, Georgia, safe as the city’s and to have served as a professor at Newport University. In his retirement, Dr. Frey hopes to engage in more pro bono counseling work in the coming years.
