HEALTH AND WELLNESS Throughout his career, Dr. Rogers has also placed a special emphasis on creating opportunities for others, and he is particularly proud to have done so during his tenure in the field. As part of his primary business ventures, he provides individuals striving to build a career in veterinary care with work and training that will prepare them for future success. In accounting for his own accomplishments, Dr. Rogers has largely attributed his success to his faith and the many chances on which he was able to capitalize during his professional path. Furthermore, he is thankful for the strong moral values and determination that his parents instilled in him. In the coming years, Dr. Rogers hopes to extend his company into a family business, with his children working alongside him and eventually taking over the enterprise. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Rogers pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at the Southern University at Shreveport, where he earned an associate degree in chemistry. He subsequently continued his studies at Louisiana State University and achieved a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He is the first of his immediate family to have graduated from college. Dr. Rogers was largely inspired to pursue a career as a veterinarian in light of his own upbringing and personal experiences. To this end, he knew he wanted to be able to offer others high-quality and inexpensive options for pet care. Having risen to a position of success, he is grateful to have lived up to his personal mantra, “If you think that you cannot do a certain thing, do it, to prove to yourself that you can do whatever you put your mind to.” 203 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine
