Ever committed to her profession, Ms. Berthiaume maintains affiliation with the Minnesota Business Leadership Network. Prior to her current position, Ms. Berthiaume served as a behavioral therapist at the Holland Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota, between 2019 and 2020. She was also a teacher at Head-Start from 2017 to 2019. At the onset of her career in her chosen field, she served as a teacher at Tutor Time Childcare between 2014 and 2015. In addition to her primary professional duties, Ms. Berthiaume also remains active as a civicminded citizen, regularly volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Over the course of her vocational journey, Ms. Berthiaume pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at the Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where she earned an associate degree in 2011. She subsequently continued her studies at Metropolitan State University and achieved a bachelor’s degree in early childhood, psychology and disability studies in 2018. Well-regarded for her practiced expertise and dedication to her work, Ms. Berthiaume was previously honored with a Customer Service Award. In light of her fulfilling career, she has largely attributed her success to the support of her family, friends, teachers and colleagues. Additionally, in accounting for her accomplishments, she is particularly proud to have achieved her current position, as it was her dream to work and connect with other individuals with disabilities. In the coming years, Ms. Berthiaume hopes to return to school to study developmental disabilities and earn MSW and PhD degrees. With over a decade of professional experience to her credit, Katherine Dorsey Berthiaume is a rising leader in the health care industry. Specializing in patient care, she has excelled as a case manager for ResCare Minnesota, Inc., since 2021, primarily assisting those living with disabilities.
