Well-qualified in her field, she is also a fully licensed clinical social worker and has completed extensive research in grief and loss. As a multiethnic individual, Ms. Penter has also applied her study of therapeutic processes across several differing cultures. Furthermore, she utilizes the insights and care abilities of her emotional support animal therapists, Sully & Psy. Ms. Penter remains active as a civic-minded citizen, regularly participating as a donor for the American Cancer Society, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the World Wildlife Refuge and the Unicorn Gang at the Eugene Mennonite Church. She intends to publish her book, tentatively titled “Side BYE Side,” and release a short film illustrating the therapeutic process she uses to aid her clients. In the coming years, Ms. Penter also plans to establish a new office that incorporates a “walk and talk” therapy style. Specializing in counseling and life coaching, Jasmine Rose Penter leverages more than 20 years of experience as a leader in her field. In 2011, she founded Ignite LLC, her own private practice located in Eugene, Oregon, where she serves as the owner, head counselor and coach. As an expert in her practice, she is extensively trained in using cognitive behavioral therapy, accelerated resolution therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy to treat individual clients and families. Additionally, she is a valued member of the Oregon State Board of Licensed Social Workers. Ms. Penter began her career as a co-program manager for ShelterCare in 2002, and she later operated as an administrator and contributing editor at Integrated Research Services Inc. in 2006. Following this time, she was a Master of Social Work intern at the Laurel Hill Center in 2011 and Signature Services in 2012. After serving as an administrative assistant for Signature Services, she became a medical social worker at PeaceHealth in 2013, where she originally worked on the neurology and oncology floors in the acute hospital setting and subsequently as the sole care manager in the inpatient rehabilitation center until 2020.
