She has established herself within her creative medium as a crafter of highly unique pieces, such as multimedia collages and three-dimensional textural items. To this end, her creation process highlights the contrast and visual texture inherent within her field. Ms. Collado has been developing and refining her artistic talents since she was 7 years old. Ms. Collado has received worldwide recognition for her work, with many of her pieces having been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. Her pieces often aim to tackle complex issues and topics, with her ideas often beginning with a general concept before they ultimately bloom into marvelous works of art, from which a great deal of meaning can be derived. Over the course of her career, Ms. Collado has exhibited her work at institutions such as Arizona State University and many public locations in the state of New York, including the Chestertown Library in Chestertown, the Rock Hill Café in South Glen Falls, the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum in Newburgh and the Tannery Pond Community Center in North Creek. She has also participated in several group exhibitions with the National Association of Women Artists, including “Spring into Summer,” “The Nature of Things” and “Artist as Alchemist.”
