Dr. Jin had 22 years of functional, crossfunctional and matrix leadership experience at Deere & Company from 1998 to 2020 and delivered outstanding business results. Through challenging assignments, Dr. Jin developed strong global leadership expertise in quality management, strategic sourcing, cross-functional and cross-factory big project management, manufacturing engineering, business process definition and implementation, operations management, and global growth planning and execution. She became a certified quality management systems auditor, a certified manufacturing technologist, and a certified quality engineer during her early career. Dr. Jin has a master’s degree in management and a Doctor of Industrial Technology from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). She received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Beijing Institute of Business and Technology. She was honored with the Young Alumni Award through UNI and is a board member emeritus for the UNI Foundation Board of Trustees. Dr. Jin attributes her success to her strong Christian faith, accurate foresight, multicultural background and her holistic perspectives. She firmly believes managers could be differentiated by their leadership multiplying power and personal capacity, which both could be significantly increased through her mentoring. As a proud mother of twin sons, who have been enjoying a very balanced work and life, Dr. Jin is extremely confident and very passionate about bringing sunshine to people she works with, helping them increase their personal capacity and live the life they’ve always wanted.
