Specializing in leadership development and coaching, she has excelled as the owner and president of Rosewood Consulting Group since 2001. Headquartered in Media, Pennsylvania, the firm is well-regarded for its customized consulting services which help organizations and rising leaders maximize their potential and effectiveness in the field. Ms. Wendell has also served as the owner of TransitionWorks, another leadership consulting firm based in Media, since 2008. Before taking on her current ownership roles, Ms. Wendell was the chief executive officer of OPTIONS, Inc., from 1993 to 2001. She was also the director of client services for the company until 1996. At the onset of her career, she maintained a position as the director of career services at Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, from 1982 to 1993. As part of her dedication to her profession, Ms. Wendell also remains affiliated with Congregation Ohev Shalom, where she serves on the boards of directors and as a chair member of several of the organization’s committees. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Wendell pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations, cum laude, in 1977. She subsequently continued her studies at Widener University and achieved a Master of Science in business, with a focus on human resources and career development, summa cum laude, in 1987. Ms. Wendell also holds several certifications pertinent to her work from The Myers-Briggs Company. Well-regarded for her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Wendell was honored with an award from Power for Women for her service as an advisory board member, and she was recognized by Career Wardrobe for her volunteer service with the organization. In accounting for her achievements, she largely attributes her success to the women who have inspired her throughout the course of her career.
