With more than two decades of professional experience to his credit, Jeremy R. Johnston has cultivated a career of excellence as an entrepreneur. Since 2003, he has served as the owner of Johnston Jewelers in Centralia, Illinois. The well-known jewelry business has remained a staple of the community for nearly 25 years, having served several generations of families with brilliant diamonds, fine jewelry, elegant watches, and other custom items and jewelry repair services. Mr. Johnston previously began his first business operation, Johnston’s Trade Shop, at the age of 21, where he provided watch and clock repair services to other jewelry brands in Southern Illinois for several years. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Johnston pursued a formal education, attending Gem City College and studying engineering. He subsequently turned his attention to the jewelry industry and earned a certificate in jewelry design at the institution in 1998.
