As part of her dedication to her vocational endeavors, Ms. Strelau remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, the American Historical Association and the Organization of American Historians. Outside of her primary professional interests, she also remains active as a competitor in the circuit of international martial arts. Having previously been taught by champion martial artists in Chinese martial arts, Ms. Strelau has competed in Shaolin Kung Fu and Wushu tournaments since 2017.
