As part of her dedication to her profession, Ms. DeMarco remains affiliated with the International Hearing Society and the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her primary professional endeavors, she has maintained her love and passion for sewing. She recently began her own sewing business, Aunties Sewing Kits, in 2022, where she provides customers with uniquely creative sewing kits and materials and hosts a variety of sewing clubs and events. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. DeMarco pursued a formal education. During her collegiate career, she earned an Associate of Applied Science in marketing at Spokane Community College and an Associate of Applied Science in hearing instrument specialty at Spokane Falls Community College. Wellregarded for her professional accomplishments, Ms. DeMarco has been honored with several accolades over the course of her career. She recently received the IHS All-Star Award from the International Hearing Society in 2020. Furthermore, she was invited by the Alaska state legislature to be featured in “Alaska North to the Future (Volume IV),” which provides many insights into the state of Alaska. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. DeMarco largely attributes her success to her dedication to her patients. She is especially proud of her partnerships with the Starkey Hearing Foundation and Project Access Foundation, where she has offered hearing aid services to underserved citizens and communities.
