244 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS With over 25 years of professional experience to her credit, Susan M. Sczesniak has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of behavioral therapy. She currently serves as a clinical supervisor of the Community and School Based Behavioral Health Program at the Scranton Counseling Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She originally joined the organization in 1996, operating as a therapeutic staff support member. Since then, she has held a number of other key positions within the clinic. A proven expert in the field, Ms. Sczesniak specializes in program development and assisting patients and clients dealing with conditions such as anxiety and anger management. As part of her professional journey, Ms. Sczesniak pursued a formal education. After earning a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, she subsequently attended Marywood University and achieved a Master of Arts in clinical psychology in 1998. In addition to her academic credentials, Ms. Sczesniak holds a functional behavior analysis certification, and she is also a fully licensed professional counselor. As part of her dedication to her profession, Ms. Sczesniak remains affiliated with the North American Association of Masters in Psychology and the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society. Outside of her primary vocation, she also participates as a civic-minded citizen in her community, volunteering with her local church. Well-regarded for her practiced expertise, Ms. Sczesniak was one of five therapeutic staff support members chosen to assist in starting an autism program at the Scranton Counseling Center. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Sczesniak largely attributes her success to her professors and mentors who assisted in her growth as a professional in the field. In accounting for her achievements, she highly values her ability to help others achieve their goals, and she is especially proud to have presented at the American Psychological Association Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.
