Recognizing the significance of home health care in today’s environment, particularly amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Hurley has sought to provide better lives for patients and colleagues alike. Notably, Home Instead Senior Care was recognized as a top workplace by the Albany Business Review and the Albany Times Union. Additionally, Mr. Hurley was featured in Top CEO 2022 by the Albany Times Union. Through Home Instead Senior Care, Mr. Hurley and his team established the Drive to Success program, a successful program that works alongside taxi companies to arrange for door-to-door delivery of caregivers to patients. Attributing much of his success to his ability to contribute to the betterment of his community, Mr. Hurley is especially proud of growing his business exponentially over the years and winning accolades for the best workplace. Looking toward the future, he intends to progress further with Home Instead Senior Care with technological innovations. Deborah Johnson-Kenney is a proven expert in the field of nursing. Leveraging over three decades of professional experience as a registered nurse, she joined Lifespan Health System in 2012, where she specializes in cardiology and works alongside other medical specialists. She previously served as an ICU and CCU telemetry nurse at the Roger Williams Medical Center and her local Veterans Affairs hospital for 20 years. As part of her professional journey, Ms. Johnson-Kenney has cultivated her formal education, recently earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2022. She originally earned her certification as a licensed practical nurse in 1988. Additionally, she is a former member of the American Nurses Association and the National Lipid Association. In accounting for her accomplishments, Ms. Johnson-Kenney attributes much of her success to her stamina and grit. To this end, she has worked diligently to achieve her position in her field, and she is thankful for the support of her colleagues and fellow physicians.
