252 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Cynthia Sue Leming boasts a wealth of experience in the field of social work, specializing in program development and veterans’ care. For much of her career, she served as a licensed clinical social worker and registered nurse, serving with such organizations as the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). As part of her primary duties, she focused heavily on suicide prevention and grant allocation, and she began a Vet Lift program to support homeless veterans. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Leming pursued a formal education. After completing collegiate coursework in nursing in 1981, she subsequently attended Simpson College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1991. She later concluded her academic career at Portland State University, achieving a Master of Social Work in 2005. Though she is currently retired from full-time work, Ms. Leming remains dedicated to civic advocacy, having continued her service with FEMA in Lane County, Oregon, since 2015. Attributing much of her success to the support of her husband, she is especially proud to have helped many individuals recover from poverty. LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (RETIRED) Eugene, OR Lynn A. Lovechio leverages 50 years of professional experience in the field of nursing as a licensed practical nurse and post-acute care nurse. She has operated with local hospitals in her home state of Massachusetts and long-term care facilities in the state of Rhode Island since 1993. Today, she primarily offers her services to the Rhode Island community, where she has held positions in infection prevention and education, quality improvement, wound care prevention and minimum data set chart (MDSC) reviewing. In addition, Ms. Lovechio previously served as the owner and primary operator of her own home care business, Compassionate Care, for nine years in Massachusetts. As part of her dedication to her career, Ms. Lovechio holds a patent for a medical device for the offloading of heels for the prevention and the resolution of wounds, which was certified in 2014. Adjacent to her primary endeavors, she has also remained active as a civic-minded citizen, having recently served her community as a wound care consultant, developing and instituting a new positioning program.
