Since 2021, she has served as a clinical operations consultant at Markashi Home Health Consulting LLC, where she manages and supports various clinical policies and procedures as part of the company’s home care offerings. She previously served as a registered nurse and independent consultant from 2015 to 2021. She originally began her career working in pharmaceutical sales from 2001 to 2004. Ms. Markashi also remains active as a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Before beginning her career, Ms. Markashi pursued a formal education, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Lehman College in 1999. She also holds several pertinent certifications, including for patient access essentials and as a health care financial professional. In her civic-minded endeavors, she regularly participates with organizations such as the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the American National Red Cross. Attributing much of her success to her adaptability and attention to detail, Ms. Markashi hopes to continue expanding her business by working with positive collaborators in the coming years. A native of the Philippines, Adoracion E. Mauricio immigrated to the United States in 2003. After relocating to California, she began working as a caregiver, drawing upon a formative passion for taking care of individuals with disabilities. The recipient of a bachelor’s degree in psychology while she was living in the Philippines, Ms. Mauricio has leveraged her advanced degree to serve in her present roles as a licensee and administrator for JADE Family Homes. Serving the people with disabilities since 2003, Ms. Mauricio is especially proud of the compassionate care she gives to each of her patients. Attributing her success to her love for her work and caring nature toward all her patients, Ms. Mauricio cites her daily work to be the ultimate highlight of her career. She notes that she places great importance on her regular tasks, as her patients deserve the best possible care. She is also gratified by her opportunity to complete a formal education in the Philippines.
