Since 2012, he has operated as chief executive officer of Xpert Medical in Houston, Texas, where he specializes in substance abuse treatment and emergency medicine independent contracting. Dr. McCrary has also served as the medical director of multiple facilities. Dr. McCrary cultivated a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in chemistry at The University of Texas at Arlington in 1984 and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1989. He later honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1990 to 2010, achieving the rank of lieutenant colonel. Despite his professional accomplishments, Dr. McCrary is especially proud of his six children and eight grandchildren, with whom he looks forward to spending more time in the future. As a psychiatrist with his own private practice, he specializes in assisting patients with anxiety, depression and ADHD, among other conditions. He also remains active as a member of the Missouri State Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Moran previously served as the head of psychiatry at the St. Louis VA Medical Center, and he honorably served in the United States Marine Corps as a Navy physician in 1966 during the Vietnam War. For his service in Vietnam, he earned a Medal of Valor. After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Loras College, Dr. Moran achieved an MD at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He remained at the university and completed an internship and a residency in psychiatry between 1965 and 1971. Well-regarded for his accomplishments in the field, he largely attributes his success to his medical education and training. He notes that he is especially proud of his service in the Marine Corps, having been trained in medicine and, subsequently, being afforded the privilege of treating fellow Marines.
