258 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Brenda Ann Smith leverages several decades of professional experience as a speech-language pathologist in Huntsville, Alabama. Having previously worked in nursing facilities, home health agencies and school districts over the course of her career, she has uniquely practiced teletherapy and taught foreign students in conversational English. Ms. Smith also remains active as a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Alabama Speech and Hearing Association. Prior to beginning her career, Ms. Smith pursued a formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree at Andrews University in 1977. She continued her studies at the University of Alabama A&M and achieved a Master of Science in speech-language pathology in 2001. Additionally, she was VitalStim certified at Loma Linda University. Well-regarded for her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Smith was honored with Angel Awards from Signature HealthCare in 2010 and 2011. Since 1985, he has managed his own private practice as a psychiatrist in New York, where he specializes in treating patients with adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other related mental illnesses. Adjacent to his primary duties, Dr. Smith also worked with the NYU Medical Center from 1977 to 2010 and with Bellevue Hospital in New York City from 1987 to 1989. Ever committed to his profession, Dr. Smith also remains affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychotherapy Association. As part of his vocational journey, he pursued higher education, ultimately earning an MD at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. He also completed his residency and an internship at the institution. In light of his fulfilling career, Dr. Smith has largely attributed his success to the support of his father, who inspired him to learn to work with and better understand others from diverse backgrounds.
