Having previously worked in nursing facilities, home health agencies and school districts over the course of her career, she has uniquely practiced teletherapy and taught foreign students in conversational English. Since 1985, he has managed his own private practice as a psychiatrist in New York, where he specializes in treating patients with adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other related mental illnesses. Adjacent to his primary duties, Dr. Smith also worked with the NYU Medical Center from 1977 to 2010 and with Bellevue Hospital in New York City from 1987 to 1989. Ever committed to his profession, Dr. Smith also remains affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychotherapy Association. As part of his vocational journey, he pursued higher education, ultimately earning an MD at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. He also completed his residency and an internship at the institution. In light of his fulfilling career, Dr. Smith has largely attributed his success to the support of his father, who inspired him to learn to work with and better understand others from diverse backgrounds.
