Demonstrating much versatility in his profession, he commenced his career in 1970 with General Motors, where he served as a senior research engineer. Remaining with General Motors until 1983, he went on to serve Idanta Partners as an associate from 1983 to 1984. Following this appointment, Mr. Lange became the vice president of Wellington Management in 1985. He served in this prestigious role for two years until 1987 when he joined the staff at Fidelity Investments. While there, Mr. Lange excelled as a portfolio manager until departing from the company in 2012. Since 2013, Mr. Lange has been revered as the owner and chairman of Hedonism II Resort. Located in Negril, Jamaica, Hedonism II Resort is a premier hospitality venue located in the heart of the Caribbean. Its patrons come from all walks of life and across a myriad of countries, serving as a testament to Mr. Lange’s expertise as both a business manager and hospitality expert. To this end, Mr. Lange attributes much of his success to his diligent work ethic; he stresses the importance of always reaching one’s goals, and he notes that nothing has ever prevented him from achieving his own ambitions. Likewise, Mr. Lange is especially proud of working with zero vacations and zero sick days for 41 consecutive years. Outside of his primary work appointments, Mr. Lange remains active as a civic-minded civilian. Maintaining membership with the Auction of Napa Valley, he has also served on the board of UNICEF. Furthermore, Mr. Lange is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. While attending to his vocational duties, Mr. Lange pursued higher education. In 1975, he graduated from the General Motors Institute with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. Many years later, he attended the Harvard Business School, where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration in 1983.
