From 1977 to 2021, he served as an attorney at The Law Office of Michael J. O’Reilly, where he specialized in civil litigation, sports and entertainment law, and casework pertaining to workers’ compensation, personal injury and security disability. Since retiring from his work as an attorney, Mr. O’Reilly has continued to work as the manager of O’Reilly Boys LLC, where he assists his two sons, John and Ted, in their own business ventures. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. O’Reilly pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government in 1972. He subsequently continued his studies at New England Law | Boston and achieved a JD in 1976. In addition to his academic credentials, he was previously certified as an agent for the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball. Furthermore, Mr. O’Reilly was certified as a notary public by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, having also been licensed to practice law by the Massachusetts Bar Association. Well-regarded for his practiced expertise, Mr. O’Reilly regularly maintained an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and he formerly served as the chairman of the legal commission for the World Baseball Softball Confederation.
