280 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT With over four decades of professional experience to his credit, William Studer has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of law. Now retired, he previously served as an attorney for Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 1971 to 2007. As a consummate professional in the field, he specialized in civil litigation and product liability. Prior to beginning his career as a lawyer, Mr. Studer worked as a teacher at Ganesha High School in Pomona, California, from 1965 to 1968. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Studer previously maintained affiliation with the Product Liability Advisory Council, Inc. (PLAC), where he held positions as a board member, secretary, treasurer, vice president and president at various points during his tenure with the organization. He was also a member of the American Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Studer pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at St. Cloud State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1963 and a Master of Arts in theater arts in 1965. He subsequently concluded his studies at the University of Minnesota and achieved a JD, magna cum laude, in 1971. In his retirement, Mr. Studer remains active in his local theater community. He also serves his community as a civic-minded citizen. To this end, he regularly participates with State Services for the Blind, an organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, that provides various charitable services to blind individuals. Mr. Studer also works alongside the Barbara Schneider Foundation and local crisis intervention groups. In accounting for his accomplished career, Mr. Studer largely attributes his success to the influence and guidance of those in his life, including his family, teachers and mentors.
